Product News 2018: New Gap reports

With our new release “Edinburgh” the user has all the tools at his disposal that give him control over missing data for archiving.

The objective for these reports is to give the operator tools to comply with the legal archiving deadlines (vehicle files every 90 days, driver files every 28 days). The basis for these reports is the vehicle data.

In detail these are:

Reports of missing vehicle data/files
This report provides information about gaps in the vehicle data. It specifies for which vehicles in the selected fleet data is missing that must be archived. If more than 90 days have elapsed since the last upload, or if gaps exist in an earlier period after the upload, these are displayed in “red”.

In the graphical overview, the gaps are easy to identify and must always be closed by a “spontaneous” RDL or manual upload of the data.

Reports for “Driving without a driver card”
This report provides information on how long and how many km the vehicles were driven without a driver card.

For quicker clarification, the driver information is displayed before and after driving without a driver card.

To keep the overview, all information is also displayed in graphic form (“green” = ok, “red” = driving without driver card). If data is missing, the user can go into further details. The results can be exported as pdf or as Excel (xls).

Reports for missing driver files
This report provides information on missing driver files if a driver has driven a vehicle whose data has been archived but the driver file has not yet been archived.

The missing driver files are displayed in red in a graphical overview, which makes clarification easier.

If data is missing, the user can go into further details. The results can be exported as PDF files or Excel files (xls).

A special report “Missing driver data per vehicle” indicates which driver files are missing in which period.
